What kind of spray gun is used for each sandblasting machine, there is no rigid usage regulation, it seems to be personal usage habits, of course, it can be slightly selected according to the purpose of sandblasting and the use of sand materials, mainly to achieve the purpose of sandblasting as the standard, such as For engraving, of course, it is better to choose a sandblasting gun with a handle. If the nozzle is durable, of course, it is better to choose a sandblasting gun that can use boron carbide nozzles (some spray guns use special-shaped nozzles, and boron carbide nozzles are not used).

If it is an automatic sandblasting machine, the total gas consumption of the spraying gun should be considered when replacing the spraying gun to ensure the stable air supply of the air compressor. Generally speaking, the inner diameter of the air core of the standard sandblasting machine is 4MM, which is a general-purpose type, and the sandblasting gun should be replaced. There is no need to consider too many gun models.

Second, the replacement of the spray gun mainly considers the following factors:

1) The size of the spray gun: The size and model of the spray gun are related to the internal space and fixation of the sandblasting machine, especially the automatic sandblasting machine. Generally, the manual sandblasting machine chooses small and exquisite spray guns with large sand output, such as C-type spray guns. Automatic machine Then you need to consider the model of the fixed gun frame, and see whether you choose an ear-type spray gun (A/B/K type) or an inlaid-type spray gun (C-type gun).

2) When purchasing or replacing guns, consider the size of the remaining sandblasting gun spare parts in stock: for example

The problem of the rib of the nozzle sleeve: there are thick (2.0mm pitch) and fine (15mm pitch);

The problem of the outer diameter of the air core of the spray gun: the outer diameter of the A-type B-type air core is 18mm and 17mm, and the C-type has 15mm and 16mm or others;

The inner diameter of the air core of the spray gun: the standard inner diameter of the air core is 4mm, and there are also special-purpose air cores with an inner diameter of 3, 2 or 5mm, and the inner hole of the corresponding nozzle should be different;

If you do not pay attention to the above conditions, the purchased spray gun will not match the spare parts in stock, or the nozzle sleeve will not be screwed on, or the sand will not be produced, or the air core will not be inserted into the spray gun, resulting in a headache.

3) The matching problem between the nozzle sleeve and the nozzle: the nozzle is universal, and the nozzle sleeve is related to the outer diameter and length of the nozzle. Generally speaking, the outer diameter of the nozzle is allowed to deviate by 0.3mm according to the national standard. The returned nozzle cannot be inserted into the nozzle sleeve, please deal with it according to the following methods, it will definitely work:

A: Boil the rubber sleeve with boiling water, boil the water for about 10 minutes, and then the rubber sleeve can be inserted after softening.

B: If boiling it doesn't work. Go to a hardware processing store and ask Master to cut the inner diameter of the rubber sleeve with a machine tool. It is very fast and cheap. It costs about ten yuan to cut 50 pieces.

3. Supplementary language:

1) The spray gun of the general pressure siphon type sandblasting machine generally uses a straight hole nozzle, because the straight hole nozzle is relatively cheap and can meet the requirements of most sandblasting effects. Adjust to meet demand by using a long nozzle and increasing the pressure.

2) Pressurized sandblasting machines generally use Venturi nozzles, especially those imported from abroad generally use Venturi nozzles, because the purpose of using pressurized sandblasting machines is to spray difficult objects to achieve good results. If you want to change the nozzle type, it is inevitable, but why buy a pressurized sandblasting machine at that time, it is a bit like buying a knife to kill chickens.

Of course, for small-area sandblasting or special-purpose sandblasting such as engraving, and a pressure-type sandblasting machine is required to achieve the pressure effect, then a pressure-type small sandblasting gun is used. This kind of sandblasting gun uses a straight hole type. The nozzle with small inner diameter is the same as the nozzle of siphon blasting machine, which is economical.

3) Some nozzles with an outer diameter of 15MM and a longer nozzle length of 60MM and 80MM are mostly used for mobile sandblasting machines or convenient for spraying small areas. Generally, the outer diameter of the commonly used nozzles is 20 (21)MM, and the length and The inner diameter is the selection factor considering the blasting effect.
